Well, for some people the drum machine and synthesized horn parts will turn them away, but this really is a classic, great reggae album. The music is still very talented, very thoughtful, very unique, original, and groovy. I don't think it compares to "living in the Positive" simply because of the lack of real instruments that Nasio used on later albums. I would compare it to Garnett Silk, but even a step above when it comes the musicality of the album. It is a lot less "cliché" than you might here on other more popular albums in the 1990's. It really does have a wonderful message and great inspiring reggae songs.
