Nice step drill bit. It feels very solid, and the hex shank on the end has a solid connection and good fit in my drill. I checked these with a calipers and the sizing is accurate. The size of each step is stamped in to the side of the bit, which is a nice feature and should last for a while.I used this to drill a hole in a plastic part to install a button, and the sharp edges cut into the plastic like butter. Left a really clean even opening with smooth edges all around and perfect fit. Not sure about hardness/how it would hold up drilling metal.
