The Power of Logic - Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Skills Book | Improve Reasoning for Work, Study & Daily Life

This was well worth the buy. I am currently a first year undergraduate and bought this for my philosophy module 'reason and argument'. The book itself is absolutely fantastic- so good that all the knowledge necessary for the module is contained within. My lecturer who has read every version of The Power Of Logic is adamant that the third edition is the best and uses it himself in lectures. The information is clearly presented and explained and is thoroughly interesting. I was slightly worried about ordering it second-hand, and from America (I live in the UK) and was dubious of the quality as I didn't want to have to send it back around the globe.However, my doubts were cast away as it arrived in less than a week with the only visible damage a slight bit of wear on the top corner of the cover. Practically flawless service and flawless book really. Not to mention the best part, I only spent £40 (£20 for the book and £20 for the express delivery) which was a damn sight better that the £135 fifth-edition or the £70 new third-edition. I would thoroughly recommend buying this book via the same method. A definite 5/5.
