STEAM Powered Girls is a great book that helps guide the reader through various aspects of life while using the tools and ideas behind S.T.E.A.M. (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math). And while this book is probably intended for young girls it holds a lot of useful ideas to help anyone build confidence in themselves so that they can get through life's challenges. I am an adult male and an engineer by trade, but I have two daughters and I will definitely be using this book and its wisdom to help my them grow up to be confident and successful women (engineer or not).One of my favorite sections was the "Talent Stack" which describes one's own individual set of skills that have been developed through one's life and how they are unique to that person and should be viewed as valuable. I also enjoyed the many quotes throughout the book from successful women across many different industries. It gives a wonderful perspective on how a STEAM based approach to life can help regardless of what career path you might be on.I highly recommend this book. It's an easy and enjoyable read with a lot of thoughtful tips and a great compilation of quotes and anecdotes from successful women.
