Product Description

2013 debut album from the Swedish rockers featuring guitarist Mattias Bärjed (Soundtrack of Our Lives) and drummer Ludwig Dahlberg (The International Noise Conspiracy). The band plays a personally composed "Freedom Rock" that swings hard with an energetic, authoritarian and uncompromising sound.

Dudes, this album is radical. Free Fall are like a combo of AC/DC with some early seventies hard rockers like Free, a little Zeppelin, a little Thin Lizzy, even a little Judas Priest thrown in there! The singer's voice is excellent, sorta reminds me of Bon Scott in the high-pitched wails he busts out; kinda like if you combined the singer of Budgie with Bon Scott and then doused him in whiskey and cigarettes. This guy really has a cool voice and some of the best screams I've heard in a while. The drummer is a bad ass too, reminds me of Ian Paice and looks like he's straight out of the NWOBHM. The bass is excellent too, really some great grooves. And the guitarist is really cool- he's got some bad ass AC/DC-ish riffs but also busts out some Freedom rock licks and even some Iron Maiden-ish stuff in there too! But he does it in his own style, and you can really here his unique guitar-voice. He's got great solos and unique phrasing. This album is solid, buy it now! My favorites off the album so far are the title track and Attila.
